"The truth will set you free" is a popular line used in movies and special scenarios. Funny that it doesn't apply to all as there are powers that suppress such truths.
Take whistle blowers and sensational witness to scandals for example, especially if the one on fire is the government. The government will always deny such allegations and suspicion and will later attack the one which started such scandal. An example to this is this news:
