Ecuador : Pass to Another Oil Production Cut

Oil Minister Derlis Palacios or Ecuador say that his government will ask Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) for an exception if the oil cartel decides to slash their production for the second time in a month. He added that Ecuador deserves to avoid the reduction because about 40 percent of their national budget comes oil exports and their production is marginal. Now, Ecuador produces about 493,000 barrel of oil a day by following OPEC's rule.
