Infusion of 200,000 Barrels of Disel Arrives

Venezuela is to receive 300,000 barrels of heavy crude oil in exchange for 200,000 barrels of diesel. A ceremoney was attended by Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa and Minister of Energy and Mines, Alberto Acosta when the 200,000 barrels of diesel arrived.

Venequela Backs Ecuador for OPEC

Alberto Acosta, Ecuador's Energy Minister told reporters today that they are making a bid to rejoin OPEC in the second quarter of this year and Venequela, on of the founding members of Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries is backing them.
